COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENT& CARE

Local projects (hygiene kits, clothes, toys) supporting marginalised groups.

Our community-based projects address the intersections of gender inequality, stigma, and health. With BODOL, we launched প্রজেক্ট প্রত্যাশা, supporting sex workers and their children by providing toys, winter clothes, and essential care.

In another collaboration, Project ঐক্য চক্র, we distributed over 50 menstrual hygiene kits (reusable pads, medicines, hot water bags) to underprivileged menstruators and ran workshops to destigmatise menstruation and teach hygiene management.

Plantifying Schools, chapter 1

Infrastructural improvement at Shishu Kallyan Primary School With the generous support of our donors, we contributed to the infrastructural improvement of Shishu Kallyan Primary School. The donations helped rebuild essential parts of the school, creating a safer and more supportive learning environment for the children. This initiative ensures that students can focus on their education in a space that truly nurtures their growth and potential.

We provided essential food supplies to 55 female survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in Dhaka and Chittagong. Most of these women, living in slum communities without a steady income, rely on such support to meet their basic needs and rebuild their lives.
Project Oikko Chokro

Project Oikko Chokro

We supported 100 menstruators by providing hygiene kits containing a year’s supply of reusable sanitary pads along with essential health and hygiene items. In addition, we organized workshops to break period taboos and raise awareness about menstrual hygiene management. Each session concluded with a doctor’s consultation, ensuring participants received both practical resources and professional guidance. This was done in collaboration with the organisations Bodol and Foundation 21.
